Though nearly 600 miles separate them, Peterson and Jared Nelson will always be connected. The two men will be forever associated as the sole survivors of the Utah State University van rollover last fall that killed eight of their classmates and their instructor. Yet Peterson and Nelson lead very different lives.Peterson recognizes the burden of being a survivor, but Nelson isn't aware he is one. (AP Photo/The Herald Journal, Mitch Mascaro)
