Public Hearing to Discuss Increasing Logan's Budget & Purchasing Workforce Services Bldg

Members of the Logan Municipal Council meet tomorrow at 5:30 p.m., and at 6:10 p.m. a public hearing is scheduled on a requested budget adjustment of more $1 million.

If approved, the city will appropriate $16,274 for a Fire Department grant, $310,427 towards a damage settlement for a dysfunctional engineering capacitor bank design at the Green Canyon Substation in 2005, $160,000 for renovations of the new Municipal Justice Court and $559,000 for the purchase of the old Workforce Services building to be used for a new Municipal Justice Court.
