A 26-year old Logan man has been accused of raping a 17-year-old girl. Logan Police Lieutenant Rod Peterson says Cesar Ramirez met the girl at a dance club on February 28th.

Peterson says the girl was allegedly extremely intoxicated. He says after some time the victim’s friends couldn’t find her at the club. They became concerned and went to her home to see if she was there.

The friends told officers the girl's door was locked but they could see Ramirez through a window engaged in a sexual act with the victim, who appeared to be unresponsive. The friends reportedly banged on the door and started to yell.

Ramirez came to the door and denied assaulting the girl. He then left the home. Peterson says the girl and her friends came to police this week and reported the crime.

Ramirez was questioned and denied talking with police. He was then arrested and booked into jail.
