The Aggies loss to Saint Mary's Saturday was a loss that wasn’t easy to watch. The Aggies looked timid through most of the game.

Gary Wilkinson said that they were playing “tentative”. Coach Morrill said his team was playing “cautious”. I thought the Aggies looked like a team that just got beat by a team that wanted the game more.

With all that said I don’t believe like a lot of people that the Aggies' “At-Large” chances are now gone. Sure that win would have improved their chances, but I don’t think they can’t get in no matter what, with the loss.

After the game the Aggies RPI moved from #32 to #28 and Strength of Schedule moved up to #140. Also the WAC as a whole moved above the Horizion league from #12 to #11.

The Aggies MUST win the 3 remaining games versus Hawaii, @ Nevada, and San Jose St. on Senior Night, and if that happens and the Aggies make it to the WAC Final and happen to lose, I believe that they can still get an “At-Large” bid. It might be the last four in, but they will get in.

I know the national media aren’t in love with the Aggies, but last time I checked they don’t vote.
