As the Whittier Community Center's Executive Director, Kendall Andelin is amazed at the way Cache Valley people continue to support "Adventure Playround", a totally accessible neighborhood park to be built on the Whittier grounds with donations and volunteer labor.

Andelin says, when finished, Adventure Park will be a destination place where families and people of all ages can come.

Andelin says in spite of the depressed economy, $259,000 has already been committed but he says it is important that more contributions come in.

Andelin says donations, both large and small, will be appreciated because after April some of the project's grant commitments expire. He says there are naming opportunities for anyone able to make a large donation. Call 753-9008 or 713-5180 for more information.
