Utah State Football Hosting Coaching Clinic March 28

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State head football coach Gary Andersen and his coaching staff will host the USU Spring Football Coaching Clinic for high school football coaches on Saturday, March 28 at the Jim and Carol Laub Athletics-Academics Complex. The clinic is open to all high school coaches.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from and have questions answered by USU head coach Gary Andersen as well as take part in breakout sessions with members of the Utah State coaching staff. Coaches will also have the opportunity to tour the Laub Athletics-Academics Complex, the Indoor Practice Facility and attend Utah State’s Saturday morning practice, which will begin at 10 a.m. (MT) in Romney Stadium.

Registration for the clinic is $15, which includes lunch and clinic materials. Registration for the clinic will begin at Noon on the first floor of the Laub Athletics-Academics Complex, on Saturday, March 28.

USU’s coaching staff consists of Dave Baldwin (offensive coordinator/wide receivers), Alex Gerke (offensive line), Ilaisa Tuiaki (pronounced E-lye-sa Too-ee-ah-kee) (running backs), Kevin McGiven (quarterbacks) and T. J. Woods (tight ends), for the offense. The Aggies’ defensive staff is Bill Busch (defensive coordinator/safeties), Kevin Clune (linebackers), Chad Kauha’aha’a (pronounced Cow-ha-a-ha-a) (defensive line) and Corey Raymond (cornerbacks).
